Bateme Tournament

From 17 to 19 July 2026 the Campolongo rugby pitch in Conegliano hosted the sixth edition of Bateme Sports, developed over three days for the first time. The tournament brought together sport and celebration around mixed 3-on-3 green volley above all, with over 450 athletes, 94 teams and 480 matches played on 30 courts. Alongside these came the five-a-side football tournament on grass, with 24 teams and 220 participants, and an overall turnout of around 8,000 attendances across the weekend.

I followed Bateme Sports as a photographer, trying to tell not only the action on the field but also the mood that surrounds the tournament: competition, audience, teams and the moments lived around the matches. This page collects a short selection of images made during the 2026 edition.
