The Damned @ AMA Music Festival

The Damned live at AMA Music Festival on 12 July 2026, immediately before headliner Alice Cooper. Formed in London in 1976, they are one of the fundamental bands of the first British punk season: "New Rose" is remembered as the first punk single released in the United Kingdom, and their debut Damned Damned Damned arrived in 1977.

Fifty years after the band was born, their presence at AMA brought to the stage an important piece of English punk history, within an evening built entirely around the different souls of rock. The reportage collects photographs of The Damned's concert at AMA Music Festival, before the grand finale entrusted to Alice Cooper.
